Empowering parents on the journey through grief.

Parent Collective is committed to helping parents heal from the pain of child loss.

We understand the impossible toll the death of a child can have on a family. Parents are the foundation of the family system, and if they aren’t supported in healing, how can they support their own families in doing so? Parent Collective is committed to helping parents heal, and supporting them in not only going through terrible loss, but growing through it, becoming more self-actualized and empowered versions of themselves.

Our Grief Healing Collective plans and organizes numerous healing and community meet-ups, retreats and events every year, each one offering scholarships as possible to parents without the means. They are all organized and led by Dr. Laura Berman, founder of Parent Collective and therapist of 30 years. She intimately understands the pain of child loss herself, and brings together a collection of amazing healers and teachers to support her efforts.

The Goals of Our Healing Events and Activities

To teach parents the tools and techniques for authentic and sustainable healing and help them see light at the end of the dark tunnel of grief.

To connect parents with a sacred community of other parents who intimately understand their pain and who can walk the path of healing alongside them.

To help parents discover how to have a continued relationship with their angel(s) on the other side, because the energy of which we are made can’t be created or destroyed and love never dies.

Real Stories, Real Healing

“I came away feeling truly grounded, empowered and connected to my son.  The voice in my head is so much more gentle, loving and kind. I know the path is not linear, but I feel that I have new tools to hold myself through the inevitable waves of grief that will show up. I almost welcome them, because I know they are born of the love that exists forever between me and my sweet Seamus.

To witness and be witnessed in our grief is transformative. To be held (literally and figuratively) by mothers who know this pain, is a mighty force for healing.”

Daron

“You knew just what us grieving mamas needed. Thank you for creating this beautiful experience. I came in not knowing you and now I leave loving you.”

Lynda

“I remember the anger that was released. The beauty in not holding our emotions in. The angel hugs, and how no one wanted to let go. And I will never forget the ecstatic dancing. The beauty in seeing women move to the music, cry, not care, listen to the words, and laugh. It gave a visual reminder about how to live. That joy is possible. Thank you for your gift, your donations, your time, and your strength in putting this together.”
